Happy New Year from London

I cant believe another year has passed. 2008 was sure an exciting one (travel, family visits, crash of the economy just to name a few things that stand out!).

We wish everyone health, happiness and prosperity (or maybe economic stability) in 2009!

Love you!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Well its that time of year again! Scott and I just returned from our annual Christmasy trip (this year to Strasbourg, France) last night and are in full Christmas swing. We have a busy itinerary this year. We've spent the day prepping our Christmas lunch tomorrow, and tonight we are heading into central London to do a Christmas Eve pub walk with London Walks. Tomorrow, after unwrapping our gifts we have Ken and Christie and John and his mom coming over for Christmas lunch, a full on turkey feast. And then we will relax, write our trip report and enjoy a festive weekend of...lets face it...drinking wine.

We wish all of you a very merry Christmas, and wish we could be closer this season. You are all in our thoughts and we look forward to seeing you all in 2009!

Love Jamie and Scott

PS: Pics and trip report from Strasbourg to come over the next few days!

Jamie's in a Christmas Musical Production in London!

Well, yesterday was our closing night and it was amazing. I've been taking a musical theatre course run by our friends Ken and Christie. We've been running a Christmas show all week and here are the photos:

The Front Fell Off

On August 19th 2007, an oil tanker off the coast of Australia split in two, dumping 20,000 tons of crude oil.

Senator Collins, a member of the Australian Parliament, appeared on a TV news program to reassure the Australian public.

This actual interview is so funny, you'd swear it was a 'Saturday Night Live' skit - gotta love the Aussies!

Conversation I’ve just had with a co-worker:

Him: “So what you’re saying is that 64 means 64, but 86 means 32?”
Me: “Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying.”
Him: “IT is stupid.”

Day Twelve – The Adventures of Mr. Creosote – May 31, 2011

Today was our Cognac adventure day, plus we ate the largest dinner known to man. I feel like Mr. Creosote just before he had the wafer thin...
